HBOS manager ‘exposed bank to loss of £375 million’

The corruption of a single senior manager left HBOS exposed to a potential loss of £375million, a court heard. Lynden Scourfield, 54, was allegedly involved in a ‘corrupt relationship’ with consultant David Mills, 59, which saw companies plunge into deep debt and HBOS write off £245million.
