Heathrow protesters lose

Campaigners have lost a High Court challenge against the government’s controversial plans for a third runway at Heathrow Airport. Labour’s Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell watched the ruling at London’s High Court while scores of demonstrators gathered on the street outside.
