Homeless killer admits battering widow to death but denies raping her

An accused sex attacker has admitted breaking into the home of an 89-year-old widow and battering her to death. Reece Dempster, 23, killed Dorothy Woolmer at her home at Waltham Gardens, Tottenham, north London, between 2nd and 5th August last year. He admits manslaughter and ‘burglary under intoxication’ but denied murdering Mrs Woolmer or subjecting her to a horrendous sexual ordeal.
