Hospitality manager ‘killed over bike gang joke’

A hospitality manager was battered to death with a bicycle lock after he joked his killer belonged to a ‘bike gang’, a court heard. Painter and decorator Raymond Sculley, 29, allegedly swung the heavy metal chain five or six times ‘as hard as he could’ before striking Zdenek Makar to the left side of his head.
