‘I need a knife in the cinema’

A cinema-goer who took a large kitchen knife to a late night viewing for ‘protection’ has was jailed for 11 months. Muktar Jama, 22, took a bottle of brandy and a six inch blade to the Vue Cinema in Westfield shopping centre, Stratford, at midnight on 16 December.
