Illegal immigrant to stand trial for beating fellow inmate to death

  An Iraqi illegal immigrant accused of beating an elderly fellow inmate to death at one of Britain’s most notorious immigration detention centres will stand trial in May. Zana Yusuf, 31, is accused of attacking 64-year-old Tarek Chowdhury at the Colnbrook immigration removal centre in Harmondsworth, west London.
