A burly scaffolder accused of assaulting his partner and damaging her wall blamed the wreckage on a Timberland boot which was thrown at him. David Smith, 38, allegedly ‘pushed and slapped’ his girlfriend Rabia Salim and her friend Rosemary Reid on May 24.
