Jail for accountant who pushed passenger on to the Tube tracks

A trainee accountant who pushed a fellow partygoer onto Tube tracks during a drunken rampage was jailed for three years. Mathuram Muthuraja, 22, sent Harsha Jayasekera ‘flying’ at Barons Court station in Kensington, southwest London, last October 28. Mr Jayasekera was knocked out during the fall but two brave onlookers leapt down and hauled him to safety seconds before a train had been due to pull in.
