Jail for biker who ploughed into family killing eight-year-old boy

A biker who sped through a red light at nearly 60mph and ploughed into a family, killing an eight-year-old boy has been jailed for a total of 12 years. Mustafa Ahmed was crossing the road in Plumstead, southeast London, on his way to evening prayers with his family when he was hit by 20-year-old Nicholas Hopkins’ Yamaha Thundercat.
