Jail for swimming instructor who caused the death of two cats

A swimming instructor has been jailed for eight months after he caused such severe injuries to a cat and kitten that the pets had to be put down. Charlie Brown, 22, inflicted blunt force trauma to Billy the kitten and Lelu, an adult cat, Westminster magistrates court heard. Brown was also convicted, along with his partner Soumeya Nait-Yahia, 22, of failing to provide necessary veterinary care for Lelu’s multiple injuries.
