Jockey Levi Williams court accused of pub murder

A jockey accused of beating a 71-year-old drinker to death in a brawl outside a pub has appeared in court today (thurs) charged with murder. Levi Williams, 25, struck Richard Wingrove at least twice after fighting erupted outside the Waggon & Horses in Newmarket, Suffolk, on 8 March. The victim was rushed to hospital in a critical condition but died on 18 March. Williams was been arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm but he was charged with murder…
