A judge had to speak to an accused terrorist on the phone from court after he refused to appear on a video link. District Judge Michael Snow fumed that Muhammad Billal, 18 was ‘running the justice system’ by not turning up to court hearings. Billal, 18, who lived with his parents in Nelson, Lancashire, was arrested on 11 February after an investigation by counter terrorism police.
