Killer admits beating woman to death in her home

A killer who bludgeoned a woman to death at her home is facing a life sentence after admitting murder today (mon). David McCorkell, 54, beat 61-year-old Diane Dyer to death at her home in Oakwood Avenue, Beckenham, south London, on 18 July. Ms Dyer was found unresponsive by police when they arrived at the ground-floor flat at 11pm following concerns for her welfare.
