Killer admits strangling girlfriend in halls of residence

A mentally ill killer has admitted strangling his girlfriend to death in her halls of residence. Maher Maaroufe, 23, had been in a relationship with City University psychology undergraduate Sabita Thanwani, 19, before the killing in Clerkenwell, central London.
