Let-off for Jesmin Akter who killed girl while trying to eliminate bed bugs

A woman who killed a girl on her 11th birthday while trying to eliminate bedbugs in her flat with illegally imported poison was spared jail today (thurs). Jesmin Akter, 34, scattered aluminium phosphide around her flat in a block infested with bed bugs in Tower Hamlets, east London on 11 December 2021.
