  A jilted husband who knifed his sister-in-law and her teenage son after his wife fled to Ecuador with his children has been jailed for life. Thomas Foley, 37, tried to kidnap Norma Paredes-Peralta and her 19-year-old son Santiago Prades so he could use them as a bargaining tool against his wife.
