Loan shark jailed for ripping off homeowners

A loan shark who became obsessed by ripping off vulnerable debtors as he made over £2 million from their misery has been jailed for three and a half years. Dharam Gopee, 64, bought the homes of ‘desperate and uneducated’ people if they failed to repay their debts of a few thousand pounds.
