London ‘plagued by the ravages’ of knife crime

A career burglar caught with a a machete has been jailed by a judge who said London is ‘plagued by the ravages’ of knife crime. Mark Martin, 46, was arrested on 7 February this year when police found a the fearsome weapon together with a lock knife, metal bar and screwdriver in his rucksack.
