Man accused of murdering mobility scooter busker

An alleged knifeman accused of stabbing 87-year-old Thomas O’Halloran to death on his mobility scooter will enter pleas next month. Lee Byer, 44, is said to have knifed Mr O’Halloran in the neck and chest in Greenford, west London, at 4.06pm on 16 August. The grandfather, originally from Co Clare, Ireland, has been described as an ’87-year-old grandfather known locally in the community’.
