Man denies murdering of deaf woman in the street

An alleged killer accused of punching a deaf woman on the street causing her to hit her head and die on the pavement has denied murder. Zahwa Mukhtar, 27, died after being attacked on Chadwell Heath Lane, Romford, on 16 August. Police and ambulance crews were called about 5.30am after she was found collapsed with a head injury outside Chadwell House Residential Care Home.
