Marine in court over explosives and PSNI uniform terror plot
A serving member of the Royal Marines appeared in court today accused of stockpiling explosives and Northern Ireland police uniforms for an alleged terror plot. Ciaran Maxwell, 30, is charged with intending to assist another to commit acts of terrorism, possession of cannabis with intent to supply and possession of articles in connection with fraud. He was arrested on 24 August 2016 and allegedly found to be in possession of chemicals and components for use in the manufacture of explosives….
