‘Memorial should be built so Holocaust survivors can see it’

There is a ‘resounding moral importance’ to build a £100m memorial next to the Houses of Parliament so elderly survivors of the Holocaust can see it, the High Court heard. The Holocaust Memorial and Learning Centre is set to open in 2024 and will commemorate the 6 million Jewish victims of the Nazis, as well as the Roma, homosexuals and the disabled.
