Mining company paid vast bribes across Africa

A mining company paid more than £20m in bribes to secure preferential access to oil across Africa, a court heard. Glencore Energy admitted seven bribery charges in its operations in Cameroon, Equatorial Guinea, Ivory Coast, Nigeria, and South Sudan.
