The eldest daughter of former Tory minister Cecil Parkinson hanged herself two days after she was discharged from a private psychiatric hospital, an inquest heard. Mary Parkinson, 57, was discovered hanging from the banister at her £900,000 Victorian terraced home in Ashbury Road, Battersea, by concerned neighbours on December 10 last year.
