£186m worth of coke hidden in shipment of bananas

Three drug smugglers brought £186 million worth of cocaine into the UK hidden inside a consignment of Colombian bananas, a court heard. Police intercepted a delivery of 41 pallets of fruit containing 2,330kg of cocaine at Portsmouth harbour in February 2021, the Old Bailey heard.
