More bird for shanking inmates

Two inmates have admitted wounding a prison officer at a maximum security jail while armed with a ‘shank’ and wearing improvised suicide vests. Brusthom Ziamani, 24, and Baz Hockton, 26, attacked Neil Trundle at HMP Whitemoor, Cambridgeshire, on January 9 this year. Ziamani then assaulted female prison officers Georgina Ibbotson and Jayne Cowles, the Old Bailey heard.
