‘Mugger grabbed Chanel handbag’

An alleged mugger appeared in court accused of grabbing £2,500 Chanel handbag over the weekend. Teifion Pope, 30, is said to have snuck up behind Amira Chaban in Park Close, Holland Park on April 4. Pope allegedly grabbed Ms Chaban’s handbag and shoved her to the ground, Westminster Magistrates’ Court heard. He was later found with the luxury bag nearby, it was said.
