‘Man accused of wearing Hamas headband was no different to protesters with an English flag’

A demonstrator accused of wearing a green headband supporting Hamas was no different to someone carrying a St George’s flag, a court heard. Tunisian Khaled Hajsaad, 34, was allegedly sporting a green headband in support of the proscribed organisation as 45,000 pro-Palestinian protestors marched through London calling for a permanent ceasefire in the Gaza Strip.
