Murder bid man begs to see the woman he tried to kill, court hears

A man appeared at the Old Bailey today (Fri) charged with the attempted murder of a woman and her unborn child. Petar Petrov, 30, is accused of trying to kill a pregnant Ana Campos and destroy her child on 5 August this year. Petrov, of Densworth Grove, Tottenham, appeared in court via video link from Pentonville prison. As the charges against him were read out a tearful Petrov only said: ‘I want to tell her the truth. I love her……
