Nurse struck off for investigation blunders
A nurse at the centre of a baby death scandal was struck off for failing to properly investigate colleagues. Jeanette Parkinson was maternity risk manager at Furness General hospital when a ‘lethal mix’ of failings led to the preventable deaths of four babies and two mothers between 2004 and 2013.
