Pair face child cruelty retrial

A man and an elderly woman accused of beating a six year-old boy for not doing his homework properly are facing a retrial. Felicia Adeneye, 72, and Michael Lucas, 43, are said to have punished the child – now 12 – using belts, sticks and even an ornamental Buddha.
