PC Sicknote avoids jail

A policeman who cheated the Met out of £50,000 in sick pay by claiming he could barely move while moonlighting as a professional dog walker has been spared jail. PC Richard Williams, 40, used corrector fluid to forge doctor’s medical notes claiming he was unfit for work between 2015 and 2017. He made £11,500 dog-walking while claiming that a GP had said he would never be able to walk properly again due to joint pain after two on-duty car crashes….
