Pensioner denies bid to frame innocent man for terrorism

A pensioner accused of trying to get an innocent man arrested over the Westminster Bridge terror attack today (tues) denied perverting the course of justice. Gerald Banyard, 66, allegedly sent two letters to police falsely claiming Ian Anderson-Boles was an associate of killer Khalid Masood. Days after the atrocity, Banyard posted them to Brighton police station in a bid to get Mr Anderson-Boles questioned, it is said.
