‘Phisher King’ Zak Coyne claimed one million victims from a bedroom in Huddersfield
One of the world’s most prolific cyber criminals helped fraudsters across the world prey on more than one million victims, a court heard. Zak Coyne, 23, ran a company called LabHost which creating ‘phishing’ websites used to trick bank customers into revealing their personal data including email addresses and passwords. Users could log on to Coyne’s own site and choose from existing fake web pages, or request a bespoke site replicating trusted brands including banks, healthcare agencies and postal services….
