Plans of Bulgarian spy ring were ‘all talk’
An espionage plot to spray an embassy building with 100 litres of blood was just ‘fanciful’ talk, a court heard. Three Bulgarians are accused of spying for the Russians with plots to kidnap dissidents, steal a journalist’s computers and stage fake demonstrations. One operation suggested by accused masterspy Orlin Roussev, 46, was to douse the Kazakhstan embassy in London with blood.
