Pop guru cleared of historic sex abuse charges

Pop personality Jonathan King has been cleared of historic sex abuse allegations after prosecution disclosure blunders led to him walking free court. King, 73, will not be retried over claims he used his fame to lure teenagers into his ‘creamy white’ Rolls Royce in the 1970s and 80s, and taking them to his Bayswater flat. He had been accused of sexually assaulting 11 young boys after plying them with drink and promising they could meet stars like DJ Kenney Everett….
