Poundworld in Croydon stank of mice urine

Mice gnawed through ‘Despicable Me’ chocolate bars and candy floss sold in a Poundworld shop overrun with rodents, a court heard. The disgusting partially-chewed chocolate was on offer at the discount chain’s shop in Centrale Shopping Centre, Croydon, south London. Youngsters were at risk after mice left a trail of urine and faeces over crisps, popcorn and chocolate bars in the children’s section.
