Prosecutors stop accused hacker walking out of court

Prosecutors stopped a hacker accused for £35m cryptocurrency fraud walking free today (Fri) after they appealed a decision to grant him bail. Corey De Rose, 21, allegedly used a technique known as “Sim Swapping” or “Sim Hacking” to steal the identities and cryptocurrency wallets of Americans along with other members of the hacker group “The Community”.
