‘Rolex Ripper’ Mohamed Amoyos distracted victims with football demos

A ‘Rolex ripper’ targeted tourists for their designer watches after chatting to them about Brazilian football has been jailed. Mohamed Amoyos, 33, swiped four valuable timepieces totalling £65,000 between October 2023 and December 2023. Amoyos was due to stand trial at Southwark Crown Court but admitted four counts of robbery.
