Romanian fugitive faces extradition over death of friend

A fugitive facing extradition to Romania for killing his friend in a car accident has been remanded in custody. Nicolae Sas, 38, was arrested on a conviction warrant issued by Romania for the manslaughter of his friend on 8 November 2014. The court heard that Sas has lived in England for six-and-a-half years and currently lives with his partner.
