Russian man cleared of involvement in £2m cyber attack plot
A Russian man accused of helping hackers steal nearly £2m from company bank accounts through a series of sophisticated cyber-attacks has been cleared of any involvement in the plot. Dagestani Abdurakhman Bazaev, 29, was said to have acted as a ‘runner, fill-in or general facilitator’ in an international plot spearheaded by his brother-in-law Vugar Mollachiev, 37.
