Schoolboy denies teen killing

A 16-year-old murder suspect today denied denied stabbing a schoolboy to death in a street fight. Michael Irving, 15, was repeatedly knifed on Byford Road, Stratford, east London on September 3. Officers rushed to the scene after reports of a fight at 6.45pm. Despite the best efforts of emergency services Michael, from Woolwich, southeast London, was pronounced dead at the scene at 7.48pm.
