A financial analyst left a fellow City worker needing more than 30 stitches after a nightclub selfie row, a court heard. Bernardo Assis, 25, allegedly wedged a small pen knife between his knuckles before taking deliberate swipes at Alvaro Garcia-Martinez’s head, face and neck. Assis had been out with a handful of Portuguese friends at the Libertine nightclub in Fitzrovia on 5 June 2016.
