Shamed immigration barrister breached ban to advise clients

  A former immigration barrister who continued to advise clients in flagrant disregard of a tribunal ban is facing jail. Michael Wainwright, 33, admitted providing immigration advice and services to nine different clients over a period of three-and-a-half-years. Some of those he advised, through the firm Crested Associates, were in detention at the time, Southwark Crown Court heard.
