Shopper is victim of random bottle attack

An attacker struck an innocent shopper over the head with a bottle in a ‘random and unprovoked’ assault, the Old Bailey heard. Mihai Valentin was left bleeding from the head he was struck from behind as he was walking home from the shops on Third Avenue, Manor Park, east London.
