Shot with a sub-machine gun
An alleged killer accused of gunning down a rival with a sub-machine gun was remanded in custody. Jamaican Jermaine Jackson, 33, allegedly shot Patrick Anzy, 31, dead at Gillett Square, Hackney, east London, on 8 May. Paramedics were called but despite their efforts Mr Anzy was pronounced dead in the scene, the Old Bailey heard.
