Siemens fined £1.4m after man crushed to death by train motor

German engineer giant Siemens was fined £1.4m at the Old Bailey after a contractor was crushed to death by a 650kg train motor. Grandfather Ian Parker, 58, was killed while attempting to remove a traction motor from a train at a Siemens train care facility in White City, west London, on 13 June 2017.
