Silence in court

A man accused of slashing a rival with a blade in a west London shopping centre refused to confirm his identity in court today. Dwayne Harrison-Brooks, 33, stabbed Jacson Paingathara, 21, to his thigh on 14 April at Westfield, it is claimed. Detectives investigating the stabbing charged Harrison-Brooks with unlawful and malicious wounding and possessing a knife in public on 15 April.
