Albanians accused of running small boats people smuggling operation appear in court

Two accused people traffickers wanted in France for smuggling migrants across the Channel in small boats have appeared in court. Albanian Lulzim Brahaj, 47. and Iraqi Rebin Sharif, 25, were arrested in London after they were tracked down by National Crime Agency investigators yesterday (5). They were arrested by specialist National Extradition Unit officers from the National Crime Agency’s Joint International Crime Centre on behalf of the French authorities.
