Snake used to guard drugs

A drug dealer who used a snake to guard his stash was jailed for nearly four years. Alfie Briffit, 22, was caught with cocaine, a stun gun and knives after police raided a farm in Deal, Kent. Officers discovered 313 wraps of heroin in a bedroom at Redhouse Farm where the snake was asleep in a tank. Police also found 99 wraps of cocaine, packing equipment, scales.
